My entry for the "PREACHER" tv show
as a part of PosterSpy creative competition.
Brief:
AMC and PosterSpy are inviting you to create an alternative poster for the first season of Preacher, which makes its UK TV debut 23rd October.
Based on the comic of the same name by Garth Ennis, Steven Dillon and Glenn Fabry, the series tells the bizarre tale of a Texan Preacher, his unapologetic ex-girlfriend and an Irish vampire.
Concept:
I deсided to create a poster in style of the stained glass window and focused on the main characters of the show. I used a color palette close to the one that used in the original serial. The title was taken from the official "Preacher" poster. For the inspiration I watched the trailer and also re-wached the first season. Made in Adobe Illustrator with Wacom tablet.
